Suzi here, website owner and forum administrator. Just a little background - I started the website almost 2 years ago as a hobby, which is still is, primarily for a place to post pictures for family scattered around the country.
A few months later I got hit with Lop.com - the notorious and evil hijacker, and shortly after that, I got the comet curse. I got really mad about it and did some pages about comet cursor and including my emails with the company CEO. He insisted of course that comet cursor was not spyware. The more he insisted, the madder I got and so I started learning about computer security & spyware; and here I am today with a blog about spyware and now a forum.
The spyware warrior blog started because my other blog was being taken over by posts about spyware. After I started the spyware blog, the hits to my website doubled in two months and I realized how many people are seeking help because of spyware. Then people started posting HijackThis logs in the blog comments. So it seemed natural to start the forum.
By profession, I am a nurse, (RN) and am blessed with a great job where I work from a home office when I'm not out in the field. I'm really an amateur, geek wannabe, when it comes to webmastering. It's been mostly trial and error and self learning with some expert coaching along the way. I'm still learning of course. If any of you have expertise with running websites and especially forums, don't be shy abput sharing ideas and suggestions. The forum will be one month old tomorrow so is in its infancy still.
Well, that's way too much about me, so now let's hear from you This is optional of course - everyone is welcome whether lurker or eager participant. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security

I go by the name of Nomore Spyware online to protect myself from the relatiation factor from evil persons due to my exposure of them on my site http://tired-of-spam.home.comcast.net
I have a busy work schedule and social life but try to squeeze as much spare time as I have into fighting extortionists and otherwise internet scum in the hopes that I can help make a difference.
A few months ago I was hijacked by the notorious SpyWiper on my first computer, then a week later I suffered another hijack from InternetAntispy on my second machine. Hence, Nomore Spyware was born and *she* has since been part of the war waged against them and others like them.
I got a crash course in internet security because of my experiences, and I was no novice before. This got me to thinking about all the true novices and first-time computer users out there who were even more naive and vulnerable than I was, which prompted me to start my website in an effort to warn and educate the public of these menaces. |

New here to the forum myself. Recently began to read more about spyware, tho have always been aware of it. Became more aware once I got cable acess. Its great that all of you have the time and energy to put in to help all the people infected. Fortunatly, I have not been infected with anything I couldn't remove with Spybot or Adaware or SpySweeper.
I have minmal pc experience, tho I can poke around the registry and not hurt myself. I'm currently unemployed, and helping my wife thru a recovery from a nasty wreck 2 years ago. Love visiting the forums, of which I peruse about 6-8 of, and offering any advice I know will help. NOT in anyway experienced enough to tackle a HJT log, LOL. But will offer my opinions about anything I can.
Always keeping an eye out for my freinds regarding internet security, I send out emails to everyone I know when a large threat is discovered. Am currently setting up a website on MSN to help with some of that, so some of them can just hit the site for info.
Well, thats my story and I'm stickin to it!! _________________

er er maybe not.
Banana Loaf
2 laughing eyes
2 bowing arms
2 well-shaped legs
2 firm milk containers
1 fur-lined mixing bowl
1 banana
Look into laughing eyes, spread well-shaped legs and slowly squeeze and massage milk containers gently until mixing bowl is well greased. Check frequently with middle finger.
Add banana and gently work in and out until creamed. Cover with
nuts and garnish with a sigh of relief.
Bread is done when banana is soft. Be sure to wash mixing utensils and do not lick the bowl.
WARNING: If bread rises, LEAVE TOWN !!!!!!!! _________________ I'm not worried by insanity--I enjoy every minute of it

I would first like to thank our host she has done an excellent job! Now a little about me I have an eng. in computers. I like any forum which put thier own time and effort into helping others. There is alot of bad stuff on the internet which can destroy your life. I have lots of expeariance in programming but always learning and like everyone else don't know it all but like to learn. I will help if I can I usally spend 5-6 hours a day on the net getting new information. And don't mind trying new programs to see if they are what they claim to do. This gets me in to some deep trouble some times but I think its worth it to help others. (warning to others that may try this: DON"T use your main system use an system you don't care if you need to reload). Well enough for now. Thanks again for the excellent forum.

wow
wawa.. that is a scary avatar.
IS that what you look like without having your wawa coffee?
I am assuming that you are on the east coast and know what a WAWA really is... correct?
Because when I travel and ask for a WAWA.. people think I am talking funny or asking for water.. and they never heard of WAWA.
BTW.. I like WAWA coffee better than Dunkin Donuts _________________

I was thinking of the Wawa store too, BTW. I figured it was something else.
I've only been to Vancouver since it is just up the road from Seattle. Didn't get a chance to go skiing at Whistler though I think it is the same with Vancouver as Seattle. It's off in it's own world from the rest of Canada. Though they speak funny like the rest of the Canucks do
