Could anyone please rate other antivirus programs, like AVG60, against Norton? Thanks.

This isn't an easy thing to do. Everyone has their own feelings about av protection. I prefer Norton, but there will be a bunch of others who do not. Best thing to do is to look for some comparison tests in some online magazines, like PCMag.com. And even then, most of what you will find won't be conclusive.

You need to find one you feel comfortable with using, and always run an online back up scan at one of the free online scanning sites on a regular basis.

Wish I could be more helpful.

This is the link I had in mind for the comparisons:

http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1665168,00.asp

And here is another link too:
http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/article/0,aid,115939,00.asp

Again, nothing really conclusive, but at least you can look at a bunch of them on the same page to decide.

I use NOD32 Antivirus. I did use kaspersky before it began to mess with Windows and SP2. Somehow it kept my help and support also my search feature in xp from working properly. NOD32 to me is easy to use and I read some reviews on it and it's performed well. Just a thought
