Could anyone please rate other antivirus programs, like AVG60, against Norton? Thanks.

This isn't an easy thing to do. Everyone has their own feelings about av protection. I prefer Norton, but there will be a bunch of others who do not. Best thing to do is to look for some comparison tests in some online magazines, like PCMag.com. And even then, most of what you will find won't be conclusive.

You need to find one you feel comfortable with using, and always run an online back up scan at one of the free online scanning sites on a regular basis.
