Hi, I came across this software wondering what you thought of it
I installed it seems to be ok finds things as they happen has a definitions update which is disabled if you only use the trial version have to buy to get the updates did not cause any malfunction with my system I did not spot it on your rouge spyware page under any heading.
I have no clue as to how to see if a program does what they say about it. If it does something tells me it found things fixed it for me and doesn't cause my computer be slow or crash and looks pretty I am apt to call it good and move on LOL
Spyware Doctor 2.1

Cnet gives it a 5 out 5 rating what that means only Cnet knows

Hi thendric,
There is a discussion about Spyware Doctor here including posts from a company representative that you might find helpful:

An invaluable resource to use before D/L'ing any "commercial" spyware scanner is Eric L. Howes' ("eburger68" here) Rogue/Suspect Anti-Spyware Products & Web Sites.
Another resource is Spyware-Guide.com. _________________ “He saw reality too clearly. Faulty denial mechanism.

Hi
I just ran
pest patrol
aluria
spyware doctor
webroot spy sweeper
on a fresh system (without any fixes)
pest patrol and spyware doctor found about the same number and the same problems
Aluria found a different set
webroot did not find much on THIS system
(neither did spybot and ad-aware)
these problems are the relm of annoying rather than serious
asking for $$$ to fix
different sets of false positives also
