Hi all I a YA You Betcha Minnesota brat glad to see this website thanks to all those who take the time to help their fellow web surfers hope MS Keeps IE going so I can breeze through the net free of bugs with my beloved Opera browser too bad have to use IE to see the Microsoft site properly either IE is the target for these spyware creators or IE is just that bad. I can web surf for weeks run AD-Ware and have it find nothing but as soon as I open up IE I get a data miner. Literally I can open IE let it load MSN and close run AD-Ware SE and it finds one data miner.
Thanks for reading my ramblings anyone else notice that about IE?
Probably should post something in one of the other topics but couldn't decide which one so I decide to post a introduction.
Tim H.

Welcome to the board Tim

Hi Tim,
Welcome to Spyware Warrior. Re your IE question: Do you have any specific apps for protection when you must use IE? Do you have ALL of the M$ patches & Service Packs for Internet Explorer? Have you heard of an app called IE-SPYAD (it's free)?
Can you list what other forms of protection you are using as this will help us better tailor responses to your needs. Also, don't hesitate to post your question in the Anti-Spyware and Security Software Discussion Forum. It has been pretty popular lately. _________________ “He saw reality too clearly. Tim,
I'm a bit confused - - You were using Spybot-S&D for awhile but stopped and uninstalled it? May I ask why?
At any rate, the Introductions Forum is not really the best place to ask about system problems so I respectfully suggest that you start a new thread in whichever "sub-forum" is the most appropriate for your needs. Your HijackThis thread might be the best place to get an answer that will suit your needs.
Good luck and nice meeting you,
