Microsoft has stated that several if not all versions of Zone Alarm will have problems with the SP2.

Any one had any first hand experience?

If you read the different problems that are reported on this page, all but one problem is for the 64 bit version of Windows XP. So unless you have that version, the only thing you need to worry about is an extra restart of XP when you uninstall ZA on XP 32 bit.
I don't use ZA, but for the people I know who use and XP (32 bit) there have been no problems with SP2. _________________ Nick's Security Ticker

I have the free version of Zone Alarm running on my laptop with SP 2 with no problems, but I have the XP firewall turned off. I'm not sure what would happen if I had both running. Usually it's not good to have 2 firewalls running together anyway.
I'll probably try using both just to see what will happen. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security
