If you use SpywareBlaster and scan with Spybot S&D and get a result for SearchForit with this in the results: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{C109664B-CEB1-420B-B353-D55A561536DD}]
Ignore it as it is a false positive from Spybot S&D and is going to be fixed in the next update. See here for more info. Reenable the protection in SpywareBlaster and ignore the result if you scan with Spybot again. _________________ Nick's Security Ticker

Yep, there is another thread here started on the same subject; as I mentioned there, there are lots of threads on this at the Net Integration forum.
By the way, they have also fixed the DSO Exploit bug in Spybot, so if you have it set up to exclude DSO Exploit, you need to reenable that search type.
edited to add: the DSO fix appears to be in the new beta version, not the current release.

Is SearchForit good, or should I care if I have already deleted it?
I don't recall ever using it, now that I think about it.......... _________________ “He saw reality too clearly. Faulty denial mechanism.

It is a kill bit set by SpywareBlaster. If you fixed it, then run SpywareBlaster and enable all protection for Active X and that will repair the problem. If you scan again with Spybot, ignore Searchforit. _________________ Nick's Security Ticker
