|

I just ran my first Spybot Scan and it turned up some "DSO Exploits". I've read that these can show up on Spybot scans even if my system is thoroughly patched (which I think it is). Is there any way to determine if I really have this vulnerability? I don't want Spybot making unnecessary changes to my registry.
Thanks for any help. I hope I'm not duplicating anybody else's question (I did try to find the info before posting). I guess you can tell I'm new. By the way, what is BBCode and why would I want it enabled/disabled? |

Hi Mary Fran,
Nothing to worry about these DSO Exploits, because it's a bug in Spybot. Just put it in the ignore list.
It has been asked here: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=45842

BBCode = Bulletin Board Code (If you want to use the BBCode, you'll have to enable it for this forum).
That's how I can make for example the above quote, otherwise it's just plain text. Also take a look in the FAQs.
I hope this helps!
Have a nice weekend. _________________ Brabantse Leeuw | Eendracht maakt macht |
