Has anyone tried this software? I downloaded and it seems to run fine. Thought I would check here to see if I should reccomend it to some friends. Looks usefull Think

Think of BHODemon as a guardian for your Internet browser: it protects you from unknown Browser Helper Objects (BHOs), by letting you enable/disable them individually. BHODemon is free, runs in the "tray" area, and works on Windows 95 or later operating systems (in other words, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows NT4, Windows 2000, and Windows XP).

, and you can rip the CLSID's from any new evil BHO's you find and put them into Spyware Blaster , if you do happen to come across any spyware/adware that isnt blocked by it yet.

It is a good tool as you can also disable any bho's you wish. Everytime I install a bho for testing, I look to it to get the details and then go from there. If you have any bho's listed and get an adware install from look2me, one thing they do is remove all entries so it is also a way to see if anything is happening to your computer from a suspected adware install.

Right now I am running more tests on the bi.dll, so here is what a saved file results look like:

I thought it looked like a great tool. I always like to ask first about these programs before i get into big trouble. I am at a point were I trust no advertising, peroid.

Just chiming in to agree that this one is well done.

I had some unidentified (benign) BHOs and it took quite a while to report them to his server; is he downloading them entire or is the site just slow? (don't care which, was just curious).
