Today I saw a TV advertisement on the Fox News network for Veloz.com. It offered a FREE spyware checkup by visiting the website.
From what I read, Veloz.com is known for "bad behavior" and sells a Spyware removal program called "Stop-Sign" which apparently tries to disable Spybot and other things.
I wonder how many other people have seen this ad? This could take Spyware to a whole new level.

You cannot trust ads even on the trusted news sites. Even computer manufactures load adware. I just got finished setting up a new HP compaq for my daughter and one of the many installs are for games by wildtangent and if left, auto updates and communicates with its server without you permission or knowledge.

One of the many reasons i do not believe anything advertizers try to sell me. If i want to purchase something I try to find users and/or experts who have no financial gain in the product to get advice from, most especially when it comes to software.
Advertising is the finest art of deception.
