Man i didnt think it would be this hard. I just did a clean install with the CD and it just wont load right. XP always starts in safe mode and the boardcom drivers and a few other hardware drivers are not installed. I have the drivers cd but that does not seem to work, Please any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Also, if this is any help, my cmos (i think that is correct)battery is dead and i haven't change it since i keep my desktop on or sleep mode all the time,so i was asking if this might have anything to do why win XP is not loading right with all the drivers install.
