Looks by the date this is fairly new on the scene:

These guys say they found no problems...

But I'm considering THAT source with about a pound of salt.

Not sure what to make of this:

Or maybe I've just seen "Psycho" too many times that the name "Norman" gives me the willies. ;-P

Norman AntiVirus has been around for a long time. I guess it's not very well known, but it has been on VirusTotal for a long time. It looks like this is a special utility just for certain types of malware. Norman had a sandbox for malware analysis long before Carsten, Sunbelt or any of the other AVs.

They are a very reputable company.

Awesome Suzi, thanks for the info. Between the crazy stuff we've seen recently coming from Facebook onto clients' boxen (I'm talkin' crazier than usual) and the acceleration of the rogueware merry-go-round, lately I'll jump at my own shadow if it sneaks up behind me.

I need to build a permanent Linux box. Or switch to decaf. Or both. Rolling Eyes
