Okay, new topic.
I'm looking for something to open files that are jpeg, and are cbr. I know of CDisplay, but does that work for Windows 7, also? Is there someone out there who knows this and could say if this problem can still work on my Win7 computer, or could suggest something else?
Also, my computer came with Microsoft Photo Manager, but for a limited time. I....don't really want to pay for it, since my old one had it for free. So I guess you know my next question: where could I get a free version?
Thanks, guys! |

Cryer,
I think you know the answer to that question already. If the program is not free, you cannot get it legally free. Getting it illegally comes with a high price, which you already have experience with. I don't think you want to repeat that scenario of getting your computer infected with password stealing trojans or keyloggers.
Surely you have some items you could sell on eBay to make some money to pay for the program. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security

Alright, sorry guys. Can't blame a guy for asking.
I guess you could close this thread now, as the question was answered. |

Cryer, if you rename your .cbr files to .rar you can then use Winrar (or 7zip) to unpack the jpegs into a folder of your choice and view them with Windows picture/fax viewer.
Otherwise there are plenty of free cbr viewers around if you do a search, but I found the above was preferable to putting up with the limited funtionality and nagware that they seem to provide.
