Hi all,
For over a year now, in my google account has appeared messages ostensibly from myself.
Of course, this is not the actual case, but I was wondering if anyone had any insight into how that could happen?
I have fwd'd a few to abuse@... with no results (that is, google has no intent of doing anything about it). Its annoying, but not the end of the world: just curious.
thanks
best,
john |

It's a trick the spammers use to make the 'from' address the same as the 'to' address. It's likely a script used by spammers and their bots, in hopes that it will be opened and read. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security
