Interesting. My local TV station was talking about it but said the cause was unknown. I wonder who's behind the DDoS.... _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security

I note that our goverment is using a ddos to stop the public knowing about data released by wikileaks because we must protect those in the whitehouse no matter how many times they and the banksters rip us off.
National interest and all that.
Still i must be carefull what i say else i will be up on rape charges before i know it.
But since we are talking about security and i spend time using my firewall to block spy-servers IP's i need to warn you all it was a waste of time because BT-Home is sending out fake DNS results so these servers don't get blocked.
Guess they must be paying more than i am but that never stops BT talking about security does it now. |

Maybe it was blocked for him the first time. |
That could be a good point, but then again Wikileaks would be bold enough to reveal TONS MORE security exploits in Windows and Macs to the point hackers would use Wikileaks to their advantage, and maybe spread a virus that destructs all computers and apparently makes those OSes nullfied, much like the time of the w95 CIH and Magistr worms that destoryed the bios and over writed the memory and chipset MProgs.
But maybe I am just a bit paranoid on it. |
