Thanks so much all of you - I still can't believe there are nice people out there who just want to help for nothing!
You saved me from paying some PC maintenance person to fix my problems - I'm sure they wouldn't have been able to.

Like all the helpers at this forum, I'm of the opinion that people shouldn't have to pay to have something removed that they didn't ask for in the first place, and got due to no fault of their own.

I'm happy your computer is again running as it should.
