It started a few days ago with my Dell inspiron 1720 with Trend miro PC-cillin Internet Security 14, the updates started to fail, so i tried the help menu but it wasn't no help for me so instead of dealing with the tech support i just figured i just un-install/re-install but in my haste i forget to turn off the real-time off. So now when i put the CD in it will not process with anything because it still finds it's running (the firewall).

I have vista home.

I am sure not a trend micro expert, but google is often my friend.
It looks like, similar to Norton, that a removal tools exists.

I did the system restore and then uninstall using the program from Trend in the program files. re-install and everything seems fine it updated with no fail to update window. So if i have anymore issue at least now i know how to un-install and look else where for my a/v-firewall needs.
