Hi, I am aware that bogusware/rogueware was installed with forced method (i.e. downloader, trojan, and so on) or voluntary(?) case.
Sometime, victums will install bogusware through misunderstand for useful software through google adwords ad., from redirected site by browser hijacker, or banner advertisement.


In Japan, News site, antivirus vender's site and almost all of security site don't report forced install by any malware.
But sometimes, forced install will occur by malware.
Questioners for anti-malware forum don't specify the cause of the infection.


In this forum or world wide, how many forced install will reported?
I am apprehensive for contestants who presented the coping example of only bogusware in japanese forum and japanese news sites. They don't think about the existence of other malware.


I'd like to know any case that bogusware concern with ad. company by a swindle-like advertisement, or adware/malware.
If you know, please tell me a typical cace in present.

You may think strange, in japan, many news sites don't report security incidents concern with ad. company enoughly.
Only about tracking cookies.
(By the way, in japan, about DoubleClick, only bribery by google and tracking cookies ware reported without little exception. No news sites report privacy problem of ad. company enoughly, exception of Wired Japan news.)


Most earlyest incident of bogusware from banner or fake scan site, reported on April 2006 in japan ("blackworm virus" whick led to winantiviruspro 2006).
In fact, little incident reported before winantiviruspro2006 in japan, because winantiviruspro2006 was malti-language include Japanese language. And even the present, many bogusware and fake banner ware not suitable for Japanese.

I feel the existence of information gaps in Japan and foreignner.
