| i've read lot of advices about antivirus, antispyware, etc. and mostly people advise to have one or two programs to fight malicious things. i thought, well, the more you have the more they uses your cpu, and also some of programs are not compatible (ie you can't have installed both 'spyhunter' and 'spybot search and destroy'). so i get interested, how it all works for you? is there everything fine? |

Hi,
It also depends what type of sites you visit.
Illegal and porn sites are the worst. Those contain most adware and spyware...
I use the following and my system (which is nothing special never hangs)... or slows down.
1) Ant virus
1) Anti adware/spyware
Win XP updates ON
Win XP firewall ON
Registry cleaner
Both anti virus/adware software stay switched on, in the backround all the time and I scan once every month approx.
That works great. I avoid all porn sites. Better use Google/Yahoo images.
