Thewatcher writes "Over the past month, I have seen an increase in infestations by a group called Bundleware.com which with the signature of Ad-aware calling it VX2.BetterInternet objects. Until last night, I believed it was wrong to label Bundelware with the VX2 Transponder signature as their methods were different from what I could see. Not so now however!

That is my ID I use there to write. Spyban is made by the same programmer who made noadware, spyware killa that I have had Adaware add as a scam. The spyban was taken off the download.com and Nictech Networks who runs this stuff removed all pages to spyban.com but it is still owned by them.
The transponders bi.dll was being installed as 3rd party adware installs but I haven't any of their installs since Nictech Networks started with the msg116.dll and to the newest random file names that become part of the winlogon process and hard to remove.
I think because of the stealth installs and hijacking by the NictechN zestyfind.com site that they took over 2 months ago, the transponder gang looks like they are keeping clear of these real bad guys. But only time will tell.
Current listing:
NicTech Networks
bundleware.com (Produces the software bundle installers)
CuttestStudents.com
flashmyass.com
greekorgeek.com
Hotteststudents.com
look2me.com (main file server for installs)
Nictechnetworks.com (Main site)
similarsingles.com (Date and Rate)
SpotOnNews.com (Desktop news that really isn’t)
spyban.net (out of action but still has live files
studylater.com
thindivide.com (P2P File sharing)
ThirdEyeCon.com
vote.similarsingles.com (contest mode)
zestyfind.com (New addition: used in the hijacking)
(Affiliated with Nictech Networks)
Rdestiny LLC
ZeroTrace.com
BTW: My main site is down but can be gotten at:

Thanks for the info. Noadware is a member of COAST. What a joke they are.

webhelper - your site is great! I love it. These crooks need to be exposed for what they are. I would like to blog about your site and quote a few things if that's ok. I'm in the middle of working ( or supposed to be ) now, but would like to discuss this more with you later.
Have you seen nomorespyare's (forum member) site here?
http://tired-of-spam.home.comcast.net/programs.html
She has some good info about some of the other spyware scumbags too.
From that programmer's resume:
| Quote: |
| Software cracking (for fun). I am not a professional software cracker but I do it for knowledge as this job requires use of low level debugging tools like Debuggers, Dissemblers and Hex Editors etc. And also make you to know where commercial software lack intelligent registration algorithm that makes it easy for people to crack them. |
heh. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security
