An attorney in North Dakota has filed a lawsuit against Rob Martinson under North Dakota's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act (RICO). Attorney John Gobee's charges include racketeering and computer fraud. The details of the lawsuit can be seen at
http://ricosuit.spywarewarrior.com and the actual complaint at http://www.ricosuit.spywarewarrior.com/court/02.pdf
Anyone wishing to contact Mr. Gosbee can do so at honestads@hotmail.com.
Residents of North Dakota who have also been affected by Spy Wiper or Spy Deleter may be able to file similar charges. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security

| Anyone keeping up with this, Rob has until tomorrow to withdraw his claims. If he doesn't, the courts will decide if his response was adequate or not (which is wasn't). |

Hi all,
I found this forum when I did a yahoo search to find more info about whoever was responsible for the "Spy Deleter" pop-up.
I found it ironic that a company that was selling pop-up protection would have one of the most aggressive pop-ups I have ever come across. Giving them $19.95 for their product would be like paying a mafia protection racket. I added my name to a complaint even though they didn't get any money from me.
One of your links led me to this CDT complaint which I found very interesting.
