Heck..if it aint broke don't fix it! I did by installing Service pack 2 on my XP Home edition.....bad bad move...no I cant print anything from the internet or outlook distress! I can print doc's photos etc etc. Been in touch with Epson they say its a microsoft problem tried them..they tell me to turn pop up blocker off...Done that, I have disabled the windows firewall, running Zone Alarm, also in the execptions section of the firewall( xp) I have allowed file sharing and printing...
any clues on a fix?? |

hello
when you installed service smack 2 was any other programs runing?
if so this will be what created your problem.
you can get rid of service smack 2 by rebooting to safe mode and doing a system restore poing to before it was installed!.
if you still want it reinstald.reboot to normale mode.than shut off every thing that is not needed and install service smack2!
if it still does the same problem than your back to fighting with microsucks on it.
what happens to some people who installed service smack2 is there any virus and fire walls were running. and sp2 did not nstal corectlt.
