| For anyone in here who has McAfee antivirus or Firewall ...did you download an update that changes the appearnce of The security Center? Becuase i had an auto DL that changed it. Im concerned though that it might be a virus or something. |

hi - there is indeed a new update of mcaffee firewall which alters some of the cosmetics - i dont think you have anything to worry about, mine looks much nicer now too  |

I also use McAfee antivirus...update changed its appearance....not a virus.
Also notice when you open the security centre it tells you if windows update is enabled or not? Gives you the option to enable auto updates.

| ok the whole reason i asked was because when i see the security center the M is a littls off the square so ya even the little things make me scared of a virus or something LOL |

Not sure what you mean it is a little off square....the icon did change some...
Any chance you can put up a screen shot of what you mean?
If you cant put up a screen shot...just email me one.
To do screenshot...
Hit alt+prt sc keys on keyboard (copies image to clipboard)
Open paint (start> programs> accessories> paint)
Click "edit"
Click "paste"
Save it as something you remember somewhere you remember.
I dont know how to upload screenshots here... 
If you have webserver...you can upload it there.
Then post link here to the pic.
The "McAfee scan for viruses" icon is now red square with round pink/white shield thingy in it. (used to be blue)
And the icon for "McAfee security center" is just red square with big M in it. (darker red than before)
The main security centre screen is mostly white with red at left side with all the controls and thin red border.
The "my security center" shield thingy in main screen is off kilter...if thats what you mean.

Kinda blurry but looks like mine.
The M is just a little fancier.....kinda reminds you of caligraphy(sp?) a bit...if you know what I mean.
