firefox had saved a wrong user name so that is fixed and im on
but now the next issue

down load of dds says - iqj+6i5i.exe.part
alternate download says VBYKESSp.exe.part
3rd just comes up as a page of code

asking for an application to open

I have macbook 10.4 / tiger

Sorry, we can't help you, we don't work on Macs. All the tools we use are suitable for running on Windows machines only.
