Hello people,
i would like to ask you something.I'm playing an online game whose database is located at U.S.A. I live long enough from there so i guess that the packets which i send and i recieve are way less than someone who lives at U.S.A. The result is to face lagging and time delays. Is there anyway (internet setting/script or whatever) to give me an advantage like i would live near the database?
Note: If it doesn't refer to a software, move it to the correct section. |

I think it's more likely there are other reasons besides the distance from the database site. It could be your internet connection isn't fast enough or your computer might need more memory.
Try running a few of the speed tests on this page and post your results.

That's one of the tests i made.
Well, i know that game play is basically based on the distance from the server, your internet connection and your computer's performance but i have also heard that there are scripts or some setting at registry or modem which allow you to improve a little by a little your game play. Is it true? |
