So Wolfram Alpha has now opened up for public queries. Just how good is it?

Been meaning to try it out. Looks like it still needs some work. Is nice to have results that aren't ads or a site trying to sell you something.

It's great if you want mathematical functions, hard science data, graphs etc. Still a rather limited set of databases it draws on for other information though - I expect that will be built up gradually.

Also it's not too hot with syntax in queries though that seems to have been Doc. Wolfram's intent:
