One thing you can do is bookmark your post in your browser favorites. Also you can find your own post by clicking on your username. which is shown at the bottom of the main page when you are online. It will show your profile and has a link to see all your posts.

In your user options, you should select Yes for "Always notify me of replies". Then you will get an email notification when someone replies to your thread.
