Hi all,

How does one go about receiving the "spyware free" certification on their website? My current site (missingpetcenter.com) contains absolutely no spyware, malware, or other forms of bad code.

If you know some sites that have that certification, usually there is an icon with a link to the certification organization.

Honestly, I don't think those certifications mean much because they can be easily abused.

I was sort of afraid of that, but I still feel that SOME manner of certification is better than NO certification at all. In my particular case, because files are not actually downloaded, I feel that people would just feel better if they viewed some type of a certificate.

I guess it really is a moot point in general, because people don’t actually read web sites at all. Sad

My site clearly states that ONLY greater Chicagoland listings will be posted, yet every day I receive numerous postings from all around the world. In fact, over 90% of my replies are from locations other than Chicagoland. My most recent post was from Alaska! Just a bit removed from Chicago. Laughing
