Good one. Brings to mind the rogue anti-spyware author who put in his EULA that anyone from the SpywareWarrior website could not install his software. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security

Now THAT'S funny! Did he also ban everyone from Castlecops, SANS, Fraudwatchers, Attrition...well...I guess he'd have had to stop somewhere. Could make for veeeery long EULA. _________________ - Datababe

Suzi, regarding your post about ash1ey, the following might be of interest:
http://www.scriptlance.com/projects/1092083358.shtml
| Quote: |
I am looking for someone to write 5 good reviews for my software at download.com - The reviews must be positive reviews and based around the good features of our software. This will require you to have 5 different email address's to register different reviews.
Payment will be escrowed via scriptlance and then released on completition of the work.
Urgent Job. |
and this is Ashley's profile at scriptlance:
https://www.scriptlance.com/cgi-bin/freelancers/buyers.cgi?view=ash1ey
It appears that Ashley no longer sells rogue anti-spyware and has moved on to other questionable projects, e.g. in 2006 he was looking for a programmer to write software for spamming forums

I require a blog/guestbook submission tool to be made. I need it urgently so time is important.
The software needs to be a desktop application that can submit to a number of different blogs/guestbooks. I will provide details of the different types it submits too.
A few things that are also required
1)Software must have a nice GUI and look professional
2)Software must be able to work through proxies
3)Software must be able to extract URL's from search engine (Google,Yahoo,MSN) results and then submit to the URL's it extracts.
4)Software must be able to submit multiple posts to the guestbook/blogs from data the user saves.
5)Must also have an installer for users to install (i dont just want a .exe file)
6)Source code and full rights to the software requried.

Interesting. About the spamming software, I guess he never heard of XRumer. Or maybe he was too cheap to pay for it. ^^
Or maybe he owns it, who knows.
Ash1ey reminds me of the Walt Rines, Spamford Wallace types -- got started on the dark side at an early age, likely never to go back to the good side. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security
