I saw Deep Purple some two years ago in sunny sheffield only because me old man likes 'em and sheffield happend to be a leg on their "then" banana world tour.

Not been to any gigs since. Would like too though.

The last gig I went to was Brian Wilson in Oakland about 2 years ago. They didn't allow cameras, but I tried to take some pics with my cell phone, only they didn't turn out good after it got dark.

Well, I finally got to see Asobi Seksu play, and oh my goodness, they rocked. I was about two feet away from them with no barriers, and some of the pics really turned out well.

i did also manage to blag a halloween card thing they made and offered up to me at the end of the gig (probably due to the fact i was obsessively taking hundreds of pictures of them all the way through).

he ended the insanity and gave me the card to comical applause.

if you ever get the chance to see these guys live, do it!

It was about a year ago for me now, when I went to see Moya Brennan live in London.

As a kind of "thank-you" for helping on her forum, I was given 2 free tickets so I went with a friend.

I'll be going to see her live in 2 weeks' time in Germany.....
