I'd just like to say Hello to everyone on the boards.
22 year old regular geeky guy here.
I'm into cars(real ones, not rice), computer gaming/little bit of console gaming, drums....you know what? I've just about got my fingers in every pie out there.
I'll soon be joining the Air Force for free college and my major will be Computer Science/Engineering with a minor in Computer Graphics.
I've got a dual boot XP(gaming only)/Mandrake 9.1 Linux(internet use) rig that's in storage right now missing me. Is it ok for me to miss it as well?  But I've got the trusty ol' family computer to bug you guys with the problems I have.

Are there any "Internet Nuisances" I should be wary of with my Linux box whenever I hook it up to the net?
