I am new to the forum. This is my second post. I cannot log on to the forum using my home computer, but I can log on using the work computer. My home computer is running Windows XP Home SP2, 512 MB Ram, 80 Gig Harddisk, nVidia GeForce FX5200 graphics card, connecting to internet through an ADSL connection.
I can log on to spywarewarrior.com and when I click the forum link I receive a 403 error, not allowed to connect to this server or something to that effect. Even when I type the address of the forum on the address bar, I get the same results. Thanks. |

10rand,
I think I know what the problem might be. Check your private messages for a message from me.

Hello Suzi,
We have the below thread where an individual could not get to Eric's web pages. Anything I might be able to pass on to them ?
Can not access Eric Howes' page

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /uiuc/main-nf.htm on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. |
I am having no problem accessing

Bubba,
We've banned a number of IP addresses at the forum due to homepage link spammers and bogus users. I also have a .htaccess file with a number of banned IPs. That's the most likely reason the Wilders user can't get here. If you could get that user's IP address, I could check and remove it from the .htaccess file.
We've also blocked some anonymous proxies, so that's another possibility. _________________ Former Microsoft MVP 2005-2009, Consumer Security

Dear all,
I cannot go to spywarewarrior from my computer at home, either. I also get this "Forbidden error". It seems that my IP address, which is NOT static, is being blocked. Maybe it's got something to do with my ISP (T-Online)? What can be done, so that I can go to your site from my computer at home? TIA for your help. |
