Hi Suzi and all,

Now that I have graduated from Newbie to Junior Warrior an introduction is in order. Smile

I was born in August of ’52 and grew up in a bakery. I was making pies as soon as I could see over the bench standing on a 5 gallon bucket. It wasn’t too long after that I was making breads, Danish, cookies and cakes. In ’72 I turned to carpentry and in ’83 I started working with PCs. Currently I am an IS Network Specialist Grade II, but I don’t deserve that title. It is what my current employer says I am, but I haven’t taken any tests that prove it. I’ve done a lot with PCs over the years getting myself into trouble many times. I’ve been fortunate to be able to get myself out of it also. I’m sure some of you can relate to powering up a PC, hearing the hard drive spin, but no beeps and a blank screen. I’ve put my self that position many times. Yes, I’ve gotten out of it too. Wink

Until about 6 months ago I only worked on PCs, never a “real” server and anything beyond the NIC card was voodoo. Well, I have entered voodoo land; I am in a rather steep learning curve. A few members of this list can attest to that Smile

and I bless them for their help. So, I am a PC tech that is learning the server side of things. If anyone has a question don’t hesitate to PM me, if I can help I am more then happy too.
