Hi. I'm Jeramy. I came across your site looking for information on some Anti-Spyware that a customer of mine had downloaded, which was in fact causing her performance issues.

Thank you for this web resource.

About me:

I work for Microsoft in the PSS Security division. We are the guys who get your patches out on Tuesdays, answer questions about said patches, and handle all manner of Intrusion Response/Malware/Spyware issues.

Anyway, thanks again for this web resource. It's nice.

A betcha it was one of thoes SmitFraud installed rogue appointments if current trends are to go by Wink

A lot of them recently are being delivered by known OS exploits(Old&new) for which the patch's are now availabe but not all effectively applied Wink

The 0day EMF exploit is probally responsible for a lot of the post xmas carnage&peeps with new 'puter's have further inflated the toll.

Thanks for the efforts of your team in getting the patch out early since more user's would have been exposed to the exploit if they had to wait until the following patch tuesday for the update.
